First Run SwiftUI Flow

First run opens on a small hub with an empty centre. Type the home's name, or use a sample name to move on.

While the field is focused the hub steps back above the keyboard. The name lands on the centre disc, and later shows in widgets and invitations.

Five rooms start picked and sit on the ring as blocks. Tap a chip to add the garden or garage, or to take a room away.

Contacts are listed as residents or guests. Inviting Tomás puts his initials on the ring, and the button now sends the invitation.

Three blocks say what alerts are for: a door left open or unlocked, motion on a camera, a leak or smoke. Allow alerts, or not now.

Allow alerts brings up iOS's notification request. Allow turns on door, camera and sensor alerts.

The answer shows under the blocks, and Continue moves on to the account.

The account step comes right before the paywall. Sign in with Apple to back up the rooms, scenes and schedules, or continue without an account.

Apple's sheet shares the name and the email, or hides the email. Anyone already signed in skips this step.

A ring and a check confirm the trial, then first run finishes and the app opens.

Home opens on Alder House's living room, its devices on a ring around the reading. The dock holds Home, Climate, Rooms and Energy.
